উচ্চারনঃ নাওয়াইতু আন আতাওয়াজ্জায়া লিরাফয়িল হাদাসি ওয়া ইস্তিবাহাতা লিছছালাতি ওয়া তাকাররুবান ইলাল্লাহি তা’য়ালা।
অর্থ : আমি ওযুর নিয়ত করছি যে নাপাকি দূর করার জন্য বিশুদ্ধরূপে নামাজ আদায়ের উদ্দেশ্য এবং আল্লাহ তা’য়ালা।

অযুর শেষে কী দোয়া পড়া হবে; এবিষয়ে বেশ কয়েকটি হাদিস রয়েছে। সকল হাদিসের সমষ্টিতে দোয়াটি এভাবে দাঁড়ায়–
أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَوَّابِينَ ، واجْعَلْني مِنَ المُتَطَهِّرِينَ ، سُبْحانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وبِحَمْدِكَ ، أشْهَدُ أنْ لا إلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ ، أسْتَغْفِرُكَ وأتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ
‘আমি সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছি, আল্লাহ ছাড়া কোনো মাবুদ নেই। তিনি এক, তাঁর কোনো শরিক নেই। আমি আরো সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছি, মুহাম্মাদ তাঁর গোলাম ও রাসুল। হে আল্লাহ! আমাকে তাওবাকারীদের ও পবিত্রতা অর্জনকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত করুন। মহা পবিত্র আপনি হে আল্লাহ্! আপনার প্রশংসার সাথে আমি সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছি যে, আপনি ব্যতীত কোন উপাস্য নেই। আমি আপনার নিকটে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করছি এবং আপনার দিকেই ফিরে যাচ্ছি (অর্থাৎ তাওবা করছি)।’

ওযু করার নিয়ম দেখুন
There are two methods of performing Oju-
Obligatory procedure and Desirable method. Now we are going to discuss about first one for you. That is-
- Wash all faces once. This will also include gargling coolie and nasal watering.
- Wash hands once up to the elbows.
- Massage all the heads once. This will also include massaging the ears.
- Wash once up to the ankles of both feet. [In each of the aforesaid cases, the purpose is by ‘once’ – so that no part of the organ is removed from the wash.]
- Maintain this sequence. That is, first wash the face, then wash the hands, then wash the head, then wash the feet. Because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) performed ablution in this order.
- To preserve the tradition. That is, to preserve the tradition of washing the mentioned organs; So that after washing one organ, there is no longer break than usual in the middle of the other wash. Rather, one limb after another is washed continuously.
These are the obligatory acts of ablution; Things that must be done to purify Oju.
The proof that these acts are obligatory is the word of God:
“O you who believe! When you want to stand up for prayer, wash your face and your hands up to the elbows, and massage your head and ankles.
And if you are in the state of junub, you will be especially pure. And if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes out of the toilet, or you have intercourse with your wife and you do not get water, then you should perform tayammum with holy soil: with it you will wash your face and hands.
God does not want to overpower you. Rather, He wants to purify you and complete His blessings upon you, so that you may be grateful. ”
Desirable Method Of Oju
Which is narrated in the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him); the detailed method of ablution is as follows:
- The person will intend to purify himself and remove the hadas (absence of ablution). But will not utter intention. Because the place of intention is the heart. In all cases of worship, the place of intention is different.
- Bismillah will say.
- Wash the wrists three times.
- Then gargle three times rotate the water inside the mouth. Rinse the nose three times with the left hand and flush the water out of the nose three times.
- Wash your face three times. The boundary of the face is the length from the place where normal hair grows on the head to the junction of the two jaws and the chin.
- Width from right ear to left ear. The person will wash his beard. If the beard is thin, it will wash both the top and the inside of the beard. And if the beard is so thick that the skin cannot be seen, then the upper part of the beard will be washed, and the beard will be shaved.
- Then wash both hands up to the elbows three times. The border of the hand is – from the tip of the finger with the fingernails to the first part of the arm.
- Then wash your head and ears once with fresh water; After washing the hands, do not use the remaining water on the palms of the hands. And then bring it back to where it started. Then insert the index finger of both hands into the ear canal and massage the back of the ear with the thumb.
- Then wash both feet up to the kaab or taknu. The Ka’bah refers to the two bones in the lower part of the ankle.

অযু ভঙ্গের কারণসমুহ
- পায়খানা-পেশাবের রাস্তা দিয়ে কোন কিছু বের হওয়া।
- মুখ ভরে বমি হওয়া।
- শরীরের ক্ষতস্থান হতে রক্ত, পুঁজ বা পানি বের হয়ে গড়িয়ে পড়া।
- থুথুর সঙ্গে রক্তের ভাগ সমান বা বেশি হওয়া।
- চিৎ, কাৎ বা হেলান দিয়ে ঘুম যাওয়া।
- পাগল, মাতাল বা অচেতন হওয়া।
- নামাযে উচ্চ আওয়াজে হাসা।
