MBBS Application Requirements
“Citizens of Bangladesh who have passed SSC or equivalent examination in 2017 or 2018 and HSC or equivalent examination in 2019 or 2024 (including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) can apply for admission,” the statement said. Students who have passed SSC or equivalent examination before 2017 will not be considered eligible to apply.
They will have the opportunity to take part in SSC / Equivalent and HSC / Equivalent examinations with a minimum GPA of 9 in all domestic and foreign education activities.
Non-tribal students from tribal and hill districts who have a GPA of 7 will be able to participate in the examination. However, if the GPA is below 3.50 in any of the students will not be able to take the test.
Everyone must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 in HSC or equivalent examination in Biology.
Admission Test Marks Distribution in 2024
1 (one) hour written test of 100 MCQ questions of 100 (one hundred) number will be held. Subject wise number in the written test: – Biology-30; Chemistry-25; Physics-20; English-15; General Knowledge: History and Culture of Bangladesh-6, International-4.
Must get a minimum of 40 marks out of 100 marks in the written test. Those who get less than 40 marks on the written test will be considered as unsuccessful. Only successful candidates will be included in the merit list.
Assessed as SSC and HSC or equivalent 200 marks in the examination will be assessed as follows:
A) 15 times GPA obtained in SSC / equivalent examination = 75 marks (maximum)
B) 25 times GPA obtained in HSC / equivalent examination = 125 marks (maximum)
Admission Test Marks Condition (Only For 2nd Timer)
05 marks deducted from the aggregated marks of the candidates who passed the previous year’s HSC examination (15 times GPA obtained in SSC / equivalent examination + 25 times GPA obtained in HSC / equivalent examination + marks obtained in admission test)
And in the case of students admitted to government medical or dental college/unit of the previous year, a merit list can be made by deducting 08.5 (seven-point five) marks from the total number. 0.25 marks will deduct for each wrong answer in the written test.

Go to the message option of Teletalk’s Prepaid mobile phone, type MBBS, enter your User ID with space, and send an SMS to 16222.
Example: Write MBBS <Space> FRLGCT and send it to 16222.
In the return SMS, consent will be sought with a PIN, the candidate’s name, and information on deducting Rs. To give consent, you need to send an SMS to 16222 as follows.
Go to the Message option, type MBBS, write YES with space, write PIN with space, space with a maximum of four Center Code of choice (in Table 1) with a comma (,), and send SMS to 16222.
Example: Type MBBS <Space> YES <Space> 456789 <Space> 15,16,22,51 and send to 1622.
Some Of The Important Information For Apply
Image: Scanned or digital camera should be oiled image and size should be 300 x 300 pixels. However, the image size should not exceed 100 KB.
Signature: It should be scanned by signing on white paper. The scanned image size should be 300 x 80 pixels. However, the file size will not exceed 60 KB.
Address: Candidate’s District, Current Address, and Permanent Address (District, Thana / Upazila, Paste Code, etc.) must be written in English.
Preferred list: The names of the admitted medical colleges should be written in the order of their choice. Because once the order of preference is given, it will not change. The list of medical calls is given in the notification.
Bangladeshis Living Abroad Admission Details
Bangladeshi nationals residing abroad and students studying at ‘A’ level ‘A’ level can apply online. In that case, their director will have to apply along with the bank draft/pay order of two thousand takas along with the Department of Medical Education and Health Education, Mohakhali, Dhaka, and convert the GPA and take the ID number while collecting the equivalent certificate. An attested copy of the SSC certificate should be brought along while collecting the equivalent certificate.
