City bus service has been started in Rajshahi city to rescue the common people from hostages due to the autorickshaw strike. 30 buses have been plyed on city railgate to Court, Kot to Saheb Bazar, Nowhata to Saheb Bazar, Katakhali to Court routes since Monday afternoon. Safqat Manjar, general secretary of Rajshahi Pariwan Malik Group, confirmed the matter in a post on Facebook.
Meanwhile, city service buses are seen plying in the city from noon. By doing this, after the auto-rickshaws are stopped, the inconvenience caused to the movement of ordinary passengers in the city is largely alleviated.
The strike of autorickshaw drivers started from Sunday morning and ordinary commuters were in dire straits. Especially the commuters in the city suffered a lot.
