The Railway Ministry Authority has made the national identity card compulsory while traveling to Bangladesh Railway from March 2024. This year’s theme is the ticket whose travel is his travel. So if you want to travel as a train passenger, you must purchase a ticket with your ID. Bangladesh Railway National Identity Registration 2021 has already started the direct application process from the railway website. If you have already registered on the Railway website, just make a new verification with your national identity card number and date of birth. Until new verification is done, you will not be able to purchase any tickets using your ID online.

If you want to use the official mobile application of Bangladesh Railway, then you must activate it with a national identity card. Remember that only one account will be running under a national identity card and a mobile number. The authorities have assured us that the passengers’ train tickets can be prevented.
Mobile SMS process is underway online or offline for NID verification. You can enter the NID Verification by entering the website directly online. Or you can complete this verification process by SMS from any mobile number you have. We will discuss two issues today.
NID registration process:
Following the details here you can perform the registration process through the NID. Current ATT Rail Service users will be login to https://etkeket.railway.gov.bd/ If the NID is logged in on the website.
If the NID is verified with the correct details, the user’s profile will be updated to the database and he can buy tickets from e-tickets or rail service apps.
In the case of the new registration, the user must first complete the NID button by clicking the NID and the date of birth and the date of birth.
Once done, clicking the signup button with all the rest of the information will send an OTP to the user’s mobile. If the correct OTP is entered, the registration process will be completed through the NID.
NID registration method via SMS on mobile:
If you are willing to register NID through the mobile SMS process, follow the SMS method given below. First, you have to write “Br” then give space for “NID Number” and again send “Birth Date” SMS to 26969.
If your NID and date of birth are correct, you will be replaced by sending a thank you to return SMS. If your NID or date of birth is incorrect then registration will not be completed. Or if you are registered in advance of NID or mobile number, it will not be new.
