Basic Instruction for Courses
- Applicants will select via written test and Oral test.
- In the Written exam, they will test your general Math and English fluency.
- The written test will hold on the Dhaka and Chittagong area.
- Training will provide in the area of Dhaka, Chittagong, and Rajshahi City approved Centers.
- Training starts from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm or 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm (6 days in a week)
- After the training, they provide you your job facilities in Bangladesh or Out of the country.
What is IsDB-BISEW?
Islamic Development Bank-Bangladesh Islamic Solidarity Educational Wakf (IsDB-BISEW) was established following an agreement between the Islamic Development Bank, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and the Government of Bangladesh. IsDB-BISEW undertakes to fund and implement projects in the areas of education, human resource development, and institutional strengthening.
What is IsDB-BISEW IT Scholarship Project?
It is a technology skills development project under which the scholarship winners are provided with training of various duration on IT disciplines leading to a certificate or professional diploma.
The selected candidates will get an opportunity to undergo training by participating in a Certificate or a Diploma level course at one of the premier training institute in Dhaka & Chittagong. In financial terms, these courses are worth approximately Tk. 200,000 for training only. An additional sum of around Tk. 20,000 is spent on vendor certification for each trainee.
What would the scholarship cover?
The scholarship would cover the entire tuition fees for each course offered. But it also covers the Vendor Certification examination fee that a candidate needs to pass in order to successfully complete the course. The scholarship does not cover the cost to be incurred by the candidate for food and accommodation during the training.
Online Application and Selection Process
- Applicants must apply Online from the official website.
- Carefully read the given instructions before filling up the form. Keep your academic certificates/mark-sheets and your National ID at hand as you will need these to fill up the form
- Candidate has to pay 100 Taka by bKash as an application fee on the mentioned bKash account number. Enter the required information in the form with bKash transaction ID and click on the Submit button
- Print out two copies of the Admit Card shown on the screen and bring both copies to the exam center when you appear for the Aptitude Test
- If you enter all information correctly and you are eligible for the scholarship then you will appear in the Aptitude Test or subject-specific test
- Candidates who pass the test are called for an interview at IsDB-BISEW
- You shall be selected for the scholarship if you pass the written test and Viva-voce exam.
IT Project Overview
The purpose of the project is to provide scholarships to underprivileged but meritorious Muslim Youth to undergo extensive training for the development of employable skills in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). These unemployed graduates possess enormous potential which could not yet be properly exploited due to lack of finance. And so each year around 1,200 young graduates from widely varying academic backgrounds are awarded a scholarship by IDB-BISEW in Bangladesh. So A joint initiative of the Govt. of Bangladesh and IDB, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the scholarship program enables the participants to undergo a year-long training leading to a professional level diploma in an IT discipline. These diploma holders then go on to secure excellent jobs and rewarding careers in organizations both within and outside Bangladesh.
And so the IDB-BISEW IT scholarship Project is an educational and training network composed of approximate twenty-five IT training institutions, a full-scale R & D cell dedicated to developing training resources and curriculum, and an administrative body headed by the management office of IDB-BISEW. As a result, full-time and intensive training programs training from 10 to 14 months in duration equip the trainees with cutting-edge IT skills. But which in the vast majority of cases lead to rewarding careers in various organizations at home and abroad.
