Three thousand 70 students (including foreign students and quotas) were admitted. The units are A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H and I.Test for `F` and` G` units on 1 November 2022. In D` and` E` units is November 2, 2022. Admission test for `C` and` H` units on 8 November 2022. Admission tests for `A`,` B` and `I` units will be held on November 9, 2022.

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology (BSMRSTU) is a public university located in Gopalganj, Bangladesh.
It was established in 2001 and was named after Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. However, the academic activities of the university started in 2011. Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and technology or commonly known as BSMRSTU. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology currently has 34 departments under the 9 (nine) faculties.

Minimum Eligibility for Admission
Minimum eligibility for admission to the University of Science and Technology,
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman SSC or equivalent pass: 2016-2017 and HSC or equivalent pass: 2018 and 2022
Nationality: Students have to be born Bangladeshi by birth.
Results of BSMRSTU All Unit
The results of the A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H units of the first year admission test were published on the Gopalganj Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology (BSMRSTU) official website today. - The departments under the A unit are Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Food and Argo Process Engineering.
- Departments under the B unit are Mathematics, Statistics, Chemistry, Physics and Environmental Science and Disaster Management.

Additional Information about Admission Test
In addition to the main seats in BSMRSTU, students admitted at 5% in freedom fighter quota, 1% in disability quota, 1% in sports / cultural quota, 1% in small ethnic group and 1% in pet quota. In addition, there are 100 seats reserved for foreign students.
The university has a course credit system in place. In this semester’s education system, the course ends on time so there are no sessions. The semester ends in eight semesters. There is a laboratory or laboratory for hands-on learning.
Students have to take advantage of admission to the university by participating in the huge competitive admission test. About 35 students participated in the admission test against one seat.
Information About University
About 55 acres of land began to travel to the university. On November 24, 2022, a project of Tk 91 crore was passed to build the university’s infrastructure. The infrastructure includes academic buildings, three student halls, two student halls, administrative buildings, library buildings, cafeterias, mosques, temples, the residence of VCs, two dormitories for teachers, staff quarters, water refineries, boundary walls, etc. Under the supervision of the Education Engineering Department, the construction of these infrastructures was completed.
At present, there are accommodations for boys students in 500 seats 03 hall and 250 seat girls hostel. Authorities have named three halls, academic buildings and library buildings. Twelve buses were arranged to facilitate the transportation of students. The bus has been handed over to two university authorities on behalf of Agrani Bank Limited and Standard Bank Limited.
